It was ordered new by my father in 2005, his fifth and final Volvo as he sadly passed away in 2006 at which point registration was transferred to my mother. She has used the car sparingly covering a mere 51,250 miles and aged 87 has decided it is time hang up her keys and to pass on this luxury 4 x 4 to another Volvo enthusiast. My father was one of those mechanically minded types, which my mother inherited, and the car has been serviced annually without fail at Volvo main dealers. For many years this was by the same mechanic who came to pick it up – probably because my mother would spend whatever was recommended to keep the vehicle in tip top condition.
With 22 dealer stamps in the book, last serviced 07/03/2025 and MOT to 07/03/2026, cambelt change at 30,801miles and bar some supermarket dinks and scrapes the car is in incredible condition physically and mechanically – more in line with the age of the driver than the car. The interior looks like new, a seven-seater I don’t think the two rear seats have ever been used.
I have a fully stamped service book, book pack, a file of paperwork including the original new vehicle order form and invoice, numerous service invoices, old MOT’s and the two original key fobs.
