-The car has been in the family since new. (After the death of my father in 2001, my brothers and I have kept it on as a classic car under a Footman James policy, but there is no further need or space for it.)
-It is in good condition. It runs beautifully and has a new battery and new tyres. The interior is very good apart from scuffing on the passenger door arm-rest. The bodywork has some rust coming through, which can be seen in the photos. The speedo packed up years ago in my father's lifetime, and he was quite content to keep it so. The current mileage registers as 89,268.
There is a service history for the last six years, and if required I could search and see if my mother still has the full service history at her house. |

A dark green body with tan interior. Mechanically sound. Two litre engine; four speed and overdrive; reconditioned gearbox; new clutch, tyres, brakes; paint faded. Recently had a new exhaust system, new sills and welding work. Brakes and suspension overhauled. New windscreen yet to be installed.. Some rust, particularly on rear but a good project with many spares from Tony Barratt. Last MOT March 06 this car has even done the Bergen rally to Norway.

Partly rebuilt 1800ES in Kingfisher Blue. Major welding repairs 95% complete, Body needs preparing for spraying and then re-assembling. A significant amount(approx 30%) of second hand spares are available resulting from dismantling of two whole cars. The car has had new rear wings sills, sill plate, floor welding and some inner wheel arch repairs at rear. All parts available apart from two splash plates. Engine has been checked and painted but needs re-assembling. Two spare ES rear windows ! Carpet in VGood condition (spare S/H set also available) car has Tax exemption. Some Manuals included. |

There were 1500 made worldwide. This is an original right hand drive model. There were about 38 known examples on the road in the UK when I bought it and I have spares from another one, which reduces the numbers still further I suppose. The original 3 point harness mounts are still in the car.
Colour: Dark green with tan interior. As far as I know this is the original colour.
